Aquatics for All Ages
The YMCA’s Aquatics program has something for all ages from water walking for fitness to the SPLASH drowning prevention program for young children or swimming lanes for regular lap swimming. Whatever your interest, you can find a program that fits your needs and schedule. Private Swim Lessons:
Members: $70 per 4 30 minute lessons
Non-members: $90 per 4 30 minute lessons
Family Group Lessons: (Family only at this time)
Members: $40 per swimmer for 4, 30 minute lessons
Non-members: $50 per swimmer for 4, 30 minute lessons
Age for lessons: We accept all ages 6 months and up
- Private or group lessons include special needs, adults, pregnant mother, etc.
- 6 months- 3 years old: Must have parent in or beside pool assisting
**Due to COVID-19, parent assistance is encouraged for all lessons
SWIM CLUB
Swim Club is a place where kids of all ages can have a safe environment to advance their swimming capabilities. We want everyone to have the opportunity to achieve their potential at their own pace. Our main focus is swim team basics such as diving, using a kick board, and drills, also active games are included. The pool is also a place where all participants can form team unity, character development, and have fun. Participants must be able to pass a swim test.
COST: Monthly registration, $10 for members/$20 for non members
TIME: 4:15pm-5:30pm Tues & Thurs

The Williams YMCA of Avery County has teamed-up with Dolphin Swim Supply so people can now order bathing suits online with us and 30% of all sales goes to the Aquatics department! You can choose from a wide variety of styles and colors.
Once you decide the suits, size, and colors you want, call or email Hannah Taber at 737-5500 x317 with the information and she will order the suit for you.
